I guess they decided not to declare it. It's much easier to win a war when your enemy doesn't know you're fighting.
It's the coward's way of starting a war--the Right's way of starting a civil war.
That's what happened. That's why you've had a creepy feeling in your gut ever since November 2, 2004--the sad, sad day when the Republic ended.
Like I say, cowards prefer to do things covertly, so you've probably not heard it announced.
But America is now in a state of civil war. That's the way the history books of the future will tell it, I promise you.
Think about it. If you're not in a stupor, you know the Republican Party launched a multi-pronged attack on democracy itself in the 2004 Presidential election.
They defrauded & intimidated Democrats, threw Democratic registrations in the trash. They hacked the machines, using pieces of software to give their loser 9,000,000 votes he didn't deserve--votes existing only in the ethernet.
They succeeded in hacking the election, with the result that the United States has not yet had an elected President in the 21st century.

The Republicans can only stay in power by hacking the vote.
