Somehow, my conspiratorial comrades have convinced
themselves not only that 1) there is a world government that only angry
white guys with IQ's in the mid-80's can perceive, but also that 2)
people are talking openly about this world government.
Nothing could be farther from the truth. It only proves my
contention that the
right can believe any damned thing.
My favorite guy, fellow Austinite Alex Jones, often cites people using
the phrase "new world order" publically--as indeed they have.
We've all seen George Bush Senior talking about a "new world
order." There are several other examples. I believe Gary
Hart has used it twice.
People do use the phrase. There are seminars at UT on the subject.
But
Alex is wrong. They're not talking about world government!
It supports yet another contention of mine: that the
conspiracy people MISREAD EVERYTHING. They somehow contrive to
misperceive, misread, misinterpret, and/or misremember just about
everything. That's how they stay inside the bad comic book of
their delusion.
Nice
phrase there, Perry--"the bad comic
book of their delusion"! Huhuhuhu!
Primarily, there is no world government--no
"globalists," no Illuminati, no Black Brotherhood. So they cannot
be openly talking about themselves.
Secondarily, Papa Bush was not talking about world government.
The same is true of other public uses of the phrase: none of those
folks were saying anything about world government--not a thing.
Hey, conspiracy guys! In case you slept through English class: words & phrases can mean different
things to different people. That's why you're confused
about public use of the phrase "new world order."
To a conspiracy dude, "New World Order" designates this imaginary
tyranny.
To
normal people, a "new world order" is simply a change in the world
order--with no implication of world government.
