In fact, Adolph Hitler's conspiracy theory about Jews is a ringer for the contemporary "New World Order theory."  Just replace the Jews with the mythical globalists, & you can see it's really the same thing.

Now join me in a strange fantasy.

Alex Jones becomes President.

Now calm down.  This is just speculation, you understand.  Let's just say my fellow Austinite Alex Jones somehow becomes head of everything.

(How? The world turns out to be much stupider than I thought.  That would be a good explanation.  Go with me on this one.)

So cast off your fears & imagine that Alex Jones––or for that matter any other conspiracist––has become President.  Life becomes a bad comic book.

What do you suppose would happen?

Well, becoming President would not stop these guys from being totally crazy.  The big problem would be the "ongoing globalist threat."

Think for a moment about the Ongoing Globalist Threat.  I'm pretty sure President Alex would be telling us constantly about the ongoing, growing, & ever-developing internal globalist threat in America.

We are not home free, not by a long shot.  In fact, we have to start an offensive against the globalists who are moving amongst us.

You get the picture!

Alex might be President in this fantasy...but he's still completely paranoid.  There would prove to be a pervasive & subtle globalist threat everywhere.

"Globalist agents are everywhere!  Anyone could be working for them!  They say Milwaukee has gone over to the globalists!"

That's the way I think it would go down if Alex Jones, or any of the other conspiracy guys, were calling the shots in America.

The same mental disorder that causes them to believe in a nonexistent takeover by a nonexistent elite would cause them to perceive a constant threat from within.
