The
government did not bring off 9-11 as a
subterfuge!
To conspiracy people, it's the most natural thing in the world that the
government would launch attacks against itself, attack its own
buildings & people, destroy its financial centers, & make
itself look vulnerable & lame.
To me, this is
nuts.
Alex Jones talks about "problem-reaction-solution." This is his
term for the government clobbering itself so as to fool the people.
In Alex's mind, as with his fellow conspiracists, everyone in the world
is being fooled but him.
Everyone is dumb, you see. That's pretty much the theory.
Anyway, these guys think it's dumb not to believe the bad guys would
fly a plane into their own headquarters, bring down the center of their
own financial empire, demolish their own buildings, etc., etc.--all in
a way that only angry white guys with
IQ's in the mid-80's can detect.
Just about the only historical example of "problem-reaction-solution"
that might be valid is the possible burning of the Reischstag by the
Nazis.
My web wanderings suggest the matter of the Reichstag fire is not
settled--that the Nazis may or may not have actually started the fire.
But Alex tends to eliminate any ambiguity. I believe his memory
distorts things beyond recognition, so in his mythology, the Reichstag
is an example of problem-reaction-solution.
But it's uncertain, so we can give you only one-half of one actual
occurrence of "problem-reaction-solution."
As to other instances...surely you don't believe that Nero himself
burned Rome down...
That's all there is. The government likes to deceive us to get
into war; I'll definitely give you that.
But terrorizing its own people? Clobbering itself? Making
itself look bad? Not likely...& there are no valid examples.
"Problem-reaction-solution" is just another part of the delusional
system these guys have concocted.
Let's just
remember that God made
conspiracy guys...& we know She had
her reasons.
